Cpt. Chad Moore, an LSU Alum currently serving in Iraq, read about LSU Hockey on an LSU sports message board and has already become a HUGE fan!  This spring we recieved a letter from Cpt. Moore telling us how excited he was to hear about our Hockey team and wishing us well.

Cpt. Moore also graciously sent us an American flag that was flown over his Army support area in Iraq!  We will be using this flag for the Presentation of Colors and the singing of the National Anthem at all of our home games this year.

We sent Cpt. Moore some LSU Ice Hockey gear  - but more importantly we send OUR THANKS TO HIM AND ALL HIS FELLOW SOLDIERS!  Their brave service to our country allows us to enjoy our freedoms and have the time to play sports such as ice hockey.

Thank You Cpt. Moore and we can't wait to see you at a game once you are back home safely!  Your first hot dog is on us!
